Prof. Hongseok Kim

Brief Bio: Hongseok Kim received his B.S. and M.S. degree in the School of Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University, South Korea in 1998 and 2000, respectively, and his Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, USA in 2009. From 2000 to 2005, he was a Member of Technical Staff at Korea Telecom Network Laboratories. From 2009 to 2010, he was a Post Doctoral Research Associate at Princeton University, USA, and a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories Alcatel-Lucent, Murray Hill, USA from 2010 to 2011. His current research interests include resource management and optimization in (wireless) communications and network, IT convergence encompassing green IT, Smart Grid communications, and network economics. Dr. Hongseok Kim is one of the two recipients of the Korea Government Oversea Scholarship during 2005-2008.
